An IPL photofacial takes about 15-30 minutes or less (depending on the area) and is an outpatient procedure with no downtime, which makes it great for those with busy schedules.
You will be provided with protective eyewear before the treatment begins. Your skin specialist will apply a cooling gel to the area you wish to be treated, then will use a handheld device to apply quick pulses of IPL to your skin. There may be slight redness on your skin immediately after the treatment, which should fade within several hours.
