Coolsculpting is one of the most effective fat reduction treatments that has been approved by the FDA. Since the procedure is completely non-invasive and requires zero downtime, its the perfect option for those who might not be ready for cosmetic surgery such as liposuction.   The procedures takes 60 minutes or less, and is performed as an outpatient procedure. There is no downtime. The technology used is called cryolipolysis, which refers to the cooling of underlying fat tissue to induce the breakdown of fat cells. The fat cells are then gradually eliminated by the body, reducing the layer of fat tissue in the area of treatment. Because these fat cells are more sensitive to the cooling process, Coolsculpting does not cause any damage to the surrounding tissues. Your doctor will use a device with cooling panels to gently extract energy from the targeted area.
